I inherrited my grandmother's Rosenthal china set from my mother. I'm 47 and it has been in the family for my lifetime. I remember talk of it being rather valuable when I was a kid. I've been unable to find the series on the internet.
The bottom has green printed number "39"
below that is the word "Rosenthal" with what appears to be a crown in the middle
Below that is "Kronach-Germany"
Below that is "ELSE"
Below that in gold is "3118 C"
Below that in gold is "8"
There is also a clear number "3" which appears to be embossed beneath the glaze
The set has gold trim then green that fades into white. It is a full set including three rectangular(ish) platters, bowls gravy boat etc.
This is a painting by Leighton - Jones, on a canvas and is in excellent condition. It is a large print, and I am just trying to find out how much it is worth.
