This tray looks like silverplate with some copper showing through, and I was told it was a meat tray. Engraved in the middle of the plate are three initials and Sept. 5, 1905. There is a small mark on the back of the tray that I cannot read. The tray has four feet.
From what I can tell, this is a silver or silverplate bride's basket made prior to 1900 by William Hutton & Sons of England. It is very ornate. I think it's in very good shape, but it is tarnished and I have not tried to polish it as I didn't want to do any damage. Does anyone know what this is worth? Thank you!

Bucherer Swiss 17 Jewels antimagnetic lighter watch . A Good Client gave me this lighter she bought it in Europe. She was 83 at the time she gave me this and I have had it for about 15 years now. I'm interested in finding out what it is worth so I can have it insured. I would like to give it to my daughter on her wedding day as a special gift.
