this chair is complete, no cracks or broken pieces. every upholstry tack is there. head rest and strap there. hydraulics work. chair leans back. two screws missing on foot section. plate on back of chair states : NO. 505 CONGRESS HYDRAULIC PAT. We bought this set in the 80's. The set has a large sofa (Seats 3-4 easily) and the chair pictured below. We bought it through an antique dealer friend's private party where they had a crate of furniture shipped from Germany. The items where unrestored when purchased and were covered in dry-rotted velvet type material and stuffed with horse hair and cotton. When we had them recovered, they kept those materials inside and covered with new batting and silk fabric.

The carved Falcon/swan birds are one solid piece of wood. I think they are swans my sister thinks falcons.

Would like to know the appraised value for this very nice abstract art from the painter. I found this at a local swapmeet and If I remember it right paid $2.00 about 10 years ago. It is in good condition but it need a pro cleaning.

Service for 8, 103 pieces. Comes in a plywood chest of velveteen lining. Never been used. Needs polishing.

Don't know a lot about this set. It was given to me by my Great Grand Aunt. She had it for many years. Black polka dots on white background with gold around top rim of cup and also just inside of cup and bottom of cup. Gold on saucer and plate also.
