Roy Kroc bought sale rights from McDonald's to use his 5 cup invention of the 5 cup multi milk shake machine to speed up the service for the public. He felt that faster service meant more money.
Red uphostered retro armchairs with chunky grey pinstripe. Legs are made of wood with brass halfway down and either plastic or bakelite feet. Back cushion is deep buttoned. Back cushion is fixed and seat cushion is removable. I can't find any chairs the same anywhere on the net, have been researching for well over a week.
I'm sure they are 1960's although they have a slight 50's cocktail chair feel about them.
I do not want to sell than as yet. I would like to know approx value so I can decide whether or not to insure or sell.
has engraved windmills and boys/men, lots of copper color, some silver plating, not sure if at one time it was completly plated or if it is a decorative piece, no cracks or dents, it is a very attractive yet odd piece. All help is appreciated. Thank you.
