I found it on craigslist a few months ago but ignored the ad because it was posted as not working. I ran into the ad again a few days ago so i messaged the seller and set up a view. Went out to see it and it looked phenomenal but the guy said he never got it working and just wanted it out of the way. I offered 30 dollars and he said no give me 20 dollars just so it wont stay here. I brought it home, opened it up and found a wire that was unplugged, plugged it in, turned it on and it played like it was new. The entire turntable, from exterior to interior looks like it was kept indoors and maybe used as a coffee table or decoration.
This buffet has one flatware drawer and one plain drawer at the top. The left door covers three shallow drawers and an open storage space beneath. The two left doors enclose an open space with two shelves.
This statue may be just cheap tourist junk, but I'd like to know anything about it. Have been searching online but find nothing at all like it. The style may be Latin American or Hawaiian. Unknown hardwood varnished dark. Artistic quality is better than primitive but not fine art. Wood may be two pieces joined, hard to tell. The only things like it I see online are wood carvings from Equador.
i believe this is a painting by winslow homer of the country school 1871,from the research i have done online and at the libray-said i may have something it is possible it's one out of three paintings that he painted on his travels to the ocean where he lived the rest his life out, painted with watercolors and you can see the strokes of a brush, the material is hard wood, the frame from the research that i have done is the type of frame he would of use for this painting. I was told not to touch the painting and not expose to light
