I believe this is an old, brass milk jug. It needs to be polished - but is in good condition. I have three photos of this item - but was not able to insert them. When I click on the tree icon - it does not provide the icon next to URL for me to pull in the photos from my computer.
This was a gift given to my family. It is numbered 770 and according to the certificate with the cup there were 1000 made. The certificate says that it was "mouth blown and hand cut after an authentic utility form of the 17th century. The Stem has been formed as a baluster (hollow stem). The hand engraved vignette displays the signet of Bavaria. This strictly limited edition numbers 1000 pieces."
This is a safe which has a handle to open, a small key and twisting handle to unlock. It is dated 1847 from Miller's Safe and Iron Works and it is numbered 607 right above the key. Inside are three compartments with two drawers. Not excatly sure about the weight, but it is on four rolling casters that only roll one direction.
