This is a painting of IRIS AND MANDARIN DUCKS by Sakai Hoitsu on silk. I bought it a few years ago at an estate sale. I noticed on the back that it was previously at the Dallas Museum of Art. It had been given to the museum by an S.S. Kahn. Unsure of who that is, but I was just wondering if it was worth anything.
made of tiger oak three and a half feet tall and a foot and a half feet wide three peices of wood on back twp peices of wood on front and sides one piece of wood on back
I have tried to find a similar Gucci purse online and have been unable to.
I think this is a rare purse. This purse has a brass lock, about 3/4 of the way down on the front of the purse. The lock is opened by pushing together the two buttons. Inside is a compartment lined with beautiful brushed suede leather. This compartment has holding places for ring, jewelry, money and documents. It has 2 inserts that can both be taken out. The purse is a very dark Navy Blue, looks almost black in some light. The interior of the purse has the brushed suede leather also. The Gucci label in in the interior near the top opening.
I have no idea what it is worth, and would really appreciate an honest appraisal.
