My great grandfather's grandparents were missionaries in China in the +-1840s. This beautiful tapestry was presented to them in China as a token of appreciation from the Chinese during this time period. The piece is framed but appears to be approximately 20" long by 3 to 5" wide. It is hand embroidered/woven with silk and depicts the journey that people go through to get to heaven. Detailed images include a dragon, large bees, etc. Please see photographs.

This banner was a trophy that my grandfather brought back from his service in World War II. He was an infantry gunner (tank gunner) in the 3rd Army, 14th Armored division. Following the Allied forces capture of Eagle's Nest, he acquired the banner shown in the attached pictures and was able to bring it home to the states. Until a year ago, this banner had been tucked away in a box, vacuum sealed, for decades. I recently had it framed within the shown shadowbox in order to protect and to display item rather than have it tucked away. I desire an appraisal of the item for insurance coverage purposes as due to sentimental reasons I would never part with it. I am reaching out to this group to get an initial feel for what I should expect this item to be worth as I feel it will be a large amount before I go the official route and get a documented appraisal that I can submit to my insurance company.

1974 Marilyn Monroe Calendar with commentary Norman Mailer. Calendar itself is in great condition, there's also a paper envelope the calendar fits inside of. the envelope its torn and worn around the edges.

Roman numeral pendant watch. Webster wind-up and the Roman numeral IV is IIII. Swiss made at the bottom and at the top above Webster is a crown. just want to see if anyone can place a time period for it. And it works !!

Heavy metal dish; multi-colored enamel (I assume) paint. Peacock designs are etched/textured inside and out. Could possibly be of Asian nature.

I have a hand written note on the bowl that says Birthday gift by Charles Hart for Cora Hart Bought in College Corner. College Corner is an area around here that isn't much of anything any more but back in the day it might have been. I have a picture of Charles Hart and I have a Cora that back in school she had an autograph book dated 1880,1881, and her wedding souvenir dated 1923 ( if it is the same Cora L that is)
