I am mostly interested in what this is. Do the tongs go with it? I guess an appraisal would be nice too, but mostly curious as to what I inherited here.

We recently aquired the pieces from a local auction and we would like to get this piece among others appraised.

Ivory, carved, warrior (general) 10 inches high on wooden base, standing with left hand holding the hilt of his sword. Authenticated in 1975 by Chinese Arts Research Association, certificate number IV-M-3139/75 on July 19, 1975. Original certificate of antiquity with notarized photo also available.

They are three pics of toronto canada and they are singed in pencil.I dont know if they are coppied then singed not sure about the sketches but the singniture looks like it is not printed.
