It is a coffin shaped gold box that was on a chain (I only have a small section of the chain)I found it a few years back after my grandparents died,my aunt said it most likely belonged to my great grandmother.

my husband and I were wanting to find out the value of the piece before we try to sale it. I can see no flaws or chips on it. it's very beautiful and big. About 15 to 17 inches wide. colors very bright.
A camel-color with gold accents, gold flower bouquet in the middle of table top. The table top has a spring-loaded catch that keeps it flat. If you unlatch it, the top folds down, basically, and would be flat against the base, like a stop sign is flat. the base is chiselled and then spits off into three feet. Each foot has a metal hoof with three claws. I'd really appreciate some information on this. thank you.
