My parents purchased this piece in 1984. On the back it has a "Certificate of Registration" from Collector's Corner, Inc. It is framed and was purchased as such. There is no indication of what edition it is or what the title is. We've seen other covered bridge paintings but can't seem to find this particular scene online anywhere. We've searched both hargrovepaintings.com and hhargrove.com to try to find out its title and some sort of estimation of value. Are there any appraisers in the Northeast or California that specialize in H. Hargrove?? Many thanks in advance for any information you can provide!
Desk is in fair / good condition a couple of scuffs on the edges, most of the drawers have the eagle stamp on it, the hardware looks original and are still holding up. I see marking on them that have A214 / A215. There are 3 pull out shelves above R & L smaller drawers the 3rd pull out shelf is on the opposite side in the center. I have tried to find what yr it may be but I have not found any date anywhere or such serial number as I have heard some have.
18 Karat Solid gold lighter .. Total weight is 2.5 oz... Total weight of gold parts is around 1.2 oz Bottom is Stamped Systeme Feudor Brevete SGDG .. also says Made in France and 0.750.. Lighter has a refillable butane tank and a refillable flint compartment.. The weave pattern looks very similar to that of cartier solid gold lighters made in france around the same time... Gold buyers already came by my house and verified it is not gold plated but I didn't want to sell to someone who is just going to melt it down... Looking to sell to a serious collector who will appreciate it..
