Small antique oak seat

Category
Furniture
Condition
Excellent
Description

I believe the red covering is origional. It is tacked on not stapled or glued. The seller stated she thought the item was over 100 yrs. old. I noticed on the web that there was a John Stuart that worked for the Stickley Furn, Co. I wonder if this could be the same person.

There is a paper glued to the underside that says: Stock No. 440 ; Finish Oak ;

Uph. No. 11; Upholstering Material Contains 47% Rayon.

Silver Serving Tray with "JFM" engraving

Category
Silver and Silver Overlay
Condition
Good
Description

I received this from my mother, who had been given it by my grandfather. It's sat in my storage for about a year, until I pulled it out and upon careful inspection, noticed the Meriden B Company logo on the back. After performing some research, I decided I wanted to get it appraised.

The tray is unpolished (as can be seen in the pictures), due to research stating to leave it in that condition to show that it is indeed black silver.

The logo is impossible to photograph at the moment, due to how hard it is to see it even in the best of lights, and I apologize for this. I do however have a picture of the logo for referencing which is added at the bottom.

There is some minor damage to the tray, due to it being wedged up in the rafters of an attic and forgotten about. It also bears the monogram of "JFM" in the center of the piece (very curious about this!)

Feudal Oak - Jamestown Lounge - Dining Room Set

Category
Furniture
Condition
Excellent
Description

This is the motherload from the Feudal Oak line of Jamestown Lounge. Full dining room set in solid oak, heavily carved with massive legs. Table pulls out with two leaves on each end that are built in. They pull out and slide up to join with the top.
I also have the King's chair, two side chairs, a bench for two and a hutch with two cabinets on top and four drawers below. I don't know how much it is worth. Any help appreciated.
