Antique magnifying glasses marked Kershaw "Sportsman" "Made in England" with original black leather case also marked "Made in England". Both the eyeglasses and leather case are in excellent condition. The leather case has no tears but one can tell it is fragile due to age.
Beautiful hand-painted French Limoges vase gilded on top and bottom, and along edges of designs to add depth. Brilliant blue, orange, green, yellow and coral colored fish, shells and underwater plant life on a pinkish background.
When my Mom died in 2002, I inherited this gorgeous sideboard. I admired this piece over the years, but have no idea the value.
It appears to be a walnut and walnut veneer sideboard/buffet which includes six panels of curved leaded glass (three upper and three lower), and one "smoky" beveled mirror above shelf. Two carved lion's heads and two carved pillars adorn the buffet.
