There is a label on the back of bottom unit.  Piece is from Herringhausen, Germany, Firma: Mobel - Gamber & Co.  There is another word that I cannot read Huilig___rabstrafe.  I've tired finding info on web but I cannot find anything.  The label also has 25/27 on it so I think it was made then.  It is missing the sliding doors in upper cabinet portion.  I would like to restore item and have no idea what kind of door it should have.

I have photos but I can't figure out how to shrink them.  They will not upload so I think they are too big. 

Tea set. Ardalt Lenwile china #6208, occupied Japan.  Have 9 cups and saucers.  Saucers are combination cup/snack (I don't know the official terminology) - They are shaped like an "8," approx. 7" from top to bottom of "8," with one end smaller diameter with a indentation for the tea cup, the other end larger diameter.

Sorry - I can't upload a picture because of its size.  The cake lift has a handle the shape of an exclamation mark; open;with an internal design of five styalised leaves on the left, one below the other, each smaller than the one above and pointing downwards to the right. On the right of the leaves, facing them, from the top, is what looks like the top part of an inverted question mark, which ends in a series of six reducing 'bead.

Immediately below where the handle meets the body are two lines, followed by a further two lines, 2 cm below - then becoming the 'blade'.

I have two plates of same size: the one  from the pictures and another one straight without support (leg) with the same flower motive and same lot numer (3798), which demonstrates they were made like a set of plates.I do not know the far hystory of the set. I know only that this set was owned by a noble family and it was put on sale by its inheritans after the Revolution from 1989 that took place in Romania.

This item is a telescope made by W&LE Gurley.  There is a metal plate attached that has the name of the company, place made, and year (W&LE Gurley, Troyr, N.Y., USA 1942, as well as the following:  TELESCOPE, M1910A1
