"Antique Campaign Buttons"

Category
Metalware
Condition
Good
Description

These are three very old campaign buttons. I've researched them a bit online and I've narrowed down the time frame to 1900-1920. This may not be very accurate. We found these items in my husbands' grandfather's belongings. They represent campaigns for McKinley/Roosevelt, T. Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson. The McKinley/Roosevelt button has a couple of rust looking spots on the face but, it's still readable. My husband and I are not sure if we want to sell these items or not. At the moment, we just want to see if they have a value.

Klopstock Bros Library Table

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Fair
Description

I am the fourth generation in my family to own this table. It is a sturdy library table, with a lovely carving on the bottom brace between the legs. It has terrific knobby legs, and it splits in the middle to lift another leaf. Underneath, you can see the metal gears that open the table and lift the leaf out. A carved border goes around the entire table, under the edge. The top of the table has interesting etchings around the border, most concentrated at the ends.

Stenciled underneath the table is the name "Klopstock Bros." I can't find much information about them, except that they were a San Francisco manufacturing company, they were involved in a lawsuit in 1915 or 1916, and they were still in business in 1921. After that, I can't find anything.
