My mother puchased this sofa in a thrift store in Balitimore Maryland about 36 years ago. Later while having it reupholstered, she found out that the same person she hired to do the work for her had previously serviced her sofa 25-30 yrs earlier. He stated that it was an antique when he serviced it back then. aprox (1942-1947) Also a family friend stated that she saw a sofa identical to this one in the King's Palace in Liberia Africa 30yrs prior. aprox (1945)
