Vintage Mickey Mouse

Category
Antique Toys
Condition
Good
Description

I have a Mickey Mouse doll that I believe is from the 1930s.  Based off of pictures online it looks like it was made by Charlotte Clark.  He is 18 inches tall and has orange shoes and a blue checkered hat and shorts.  He also is wearing a scarf that has what looks like a pearl on it.  He also has all of his original buttons.  I believe him to be in good condition with only some yellowing of the face.  I am unable to find a tag or imprint on him either.  He also has the full length tail till attached.

Black "Mama" Doll

Category
Dolls and Plush Toys
Condition
Fair
Description

This child's doll appears to be from the 1950s, but doesn't contain any manufacturer’s marks or other identifying information.

Her head is ceramic, porcelain or China, and her arms and legs are a "composite" material which contains vinyl, possibly, but definitely not plastic.

Her clothing is original, I believe, and possibly cotton.  She has a dress, bloomers, and a bonnet.

I was told the doll might be a "Mama" doll, as it may have had a voice box in its chest that made the sound “mama” when the doll was tilted to the front or back.  This doll either didn't have a voice box, or it isn't working!

At some point during its "life," the head came off, but other than that, the doll is in its entirety!
