This picture is of a young woman in a white nun's habit. She is golding a crucifix in right hand. On the right side of the picture printed in white is Copyright, 1893 by The Tabor Art Co. This is about 4 inches up from the bottom and two inches in from the right side. In the middle of the bottom of the image is the title At Eventide. The frame appears to be a painted frame, gold with black in the incised area with a small scoop with mottled matalics.
I have a necklace that has been passed down in my family. It was given to me by my Great-Great Grandmother. She had recieved it from her mother. So I am unsure how far back it actually goes. I took it to a jewler for apprasial (all this is very new to me), they of course could not appraise it and would not even verify if the stones where Jade.
I am from a very small town the antique shops out here really do not even sell true antiques. I am attaching pictures and wondering if you can help. This is the first time I have considered selling this, my husband is a residential electrician and has been laid off from the union for the past year. Times are very hard. If you need better pictures I can borrow a good digital camera from my friend. Thanks so very much for any help you can provide. There are also some prints on there I have no clue aboutclick the link to see my photoshttp://public.fotki.com/Heidi4/art/
