5 piece silver plate tea set - Towle

Category
Silver and Silver Overlay
Condition
Good
Description

This set was passed down from my grandmother. The set itself is in great condition, although unfortunately a leg from the tray is missing.  This was purchased in the late 1960's or early 1970's and is marked "Towle" with a "T" or a cross  it's difficult to tell.  I'd like to find and approximate value for the set and also the pattern used.

high boy chest

Category
Furniture
Condition
Good
Description

Can anyone help me in finding out more about this piece? I found it while cleaning out my parents garage. Is it an antique? Should I bother to get it appraised? or do you think it is just a solid piece of furniture from the early 1900's? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Movie Memorabilia “Gone with the Wind” Poster

Category
Movie Stills/Posters
Condition
Good
Description

I know very little of the history of this item. It was movie poster- "Gone with the Wind" printed in the Netherlands. It was inherited from a retired Philadelphia judge's home in the Philadelphia area. He appeared to enjoy collecting as he also had several collectible books and French-made collector's plates.

Condition: Pin holes in each corner. Stored with a plastic covering over the work. Aging yellowish tint has accumulated with no damage to the main picture area.

Some ad script:

"Autant En Emporte le Vent"

"Une production Selznick International Mise en Scene par Victor Fleming Scenario de Sidney Howard Distribuee par Lowe's Inc. Musiquede Max Steiner"

"Clarke Gabel, Vivien Leigh, Leslie Howard, Olivia DeHavilland"

"Technicolor"
