This is a 9" round serving bowl from Mottahedeh design which was part of my mother's collection although I have had it for about 10 years. I don't know where or when she bought it. It is white with a black design. Inside the bowl on the bottom is a child on a swing. Around the outside are 2 young women leading a third one who is blindfolded, while a fourth young woman crouches nearby. Perhaps they are playing a game. Around the other side are two more young women.
My parents redid my bedroom in the late 60's or early 70's and along with beautiful Victorian Oak furniture they had collected some porcelain pieces to decorate my room. This was amongst the items I discovered in a box that I have had stored in my closet for the past 15 years. It is not chipped or cracked, but it does have some staining and crazing.
