I have a unique brass clarinet with a case, but no mouthpeice. It looks very old possible antique! Engraved on the end of it are the words, " Swann Le Cygmet Dallas"
I recently purchased this wonderful figure at a car boot sale. I know it is from a large stately home nearby as I know who the stall holder was. It is an intricately carved figure of a woman with a cross and carrying a basket. It is difficult to tell what kind of wood it is carved from, possibly oak although grain may be too tight for this. I reside in Scotland and think this piece may be British as oposed to European. It is signed on the back of ladies right foot 'sic' or maybe 'sir' ?.
