It is a 1924 Edison phonograph in a cherry wood cabinet. It is in very good condition and still works. I have found the contract or the sells reciept that said my grandfather paid $175.00 dollars for it.
Any idea what kind of wood this might be made of or what it might be worth? It is in good shape and is a very solid piece. The wood is darker than it appears in the picture.

Finish on this chair is original I think. Only physical damage is an X carved into one of the chair arms - some bored student perhaps? As far as I know the adjustments work but I am not sure how to manipulate them.
