c. 1800 carved gilt mirror

Category
Decorative Arts
Condition
Good
Description

I purchased this mirror at an antiques show 20+ yrs ago. I don't know anything about it. Seller said the frame was from the Federal Period. The mirror itself is not original, yet still old. It is approximately 25 x 33. I had some restoration and the gold leaf re-done 20+yrs ago. I can't really speak to condition of something this old.

Ornate Brass Floor Lamp

Category
Lamps and Chandeliers
Condition
Excellent
Description

This is an extremely ornate brass floor lamp.  It has a 3-way bulb on top and 6 lantern-type hanging attachments, 2 above the table and 4 below it.  These come on separately.  The lamp weighs 60 lbs, is 24" in diameter and 60" high.  The glass is 3/8" thick.  The plug is the old style with 2 equal size prongs.  It has no markings that I could find, but is incredibly intricate.   I'd like to know if it has any value, because it certainly is unique!
