Top Top of sides have pink and purple dyed pieces. Body looks mostly a rope form. Handle unique twisted design. General wear: cracked, frayed pieces, but still good condition.
ANTIQUE QUARTERSEWN OAK BLANKET CHEST TRUNK WINDOW SEAT. CIRCA MID TO LATE 1800'S. OLD (SECOND LAYER) OF FABRIC MADE BY PURITAN AND HAS THE WORD DOULTON ON IT. THE PIECE HAS SIX OLD METAL CASTERS OR ROLLERS AND IS EASILY MOVED.
Very heavy Oak sideboard - two pieces. I also have a matching table and chairs with removable rush (i think) seats. Pictures show the relief carvings, bun feet, etc. I found similar pieces online that were labeled as French country/pastoral or Renaissance -- I would love to know about the history of the furniture and what it might be worth.
This is a 4 1/2" tall International Silver Co 10 oz coffee carafe from the Hilton Hotel which I believe was from NYC.It is stamped on the underside with IS in squares/International Silver Co/Hilton Hotel/6-C-121/05080/10 oz/#59 in a square
this is the only one in existance, There have been no scans taken of it. I am reluctant to post any scans of the item that might come into circulation for fear that this would devalue the item. I would like to know where i could take it to get it appraised
