Lane Furniture Bar/Entertainment Center

Category
American Furniture
Condition
Excellent
Description

I have a piece of furniture that resembles an entertainment Center / Bar. I am sure that is not the proper name for it. I have searched high and low for a piece similar to this one and have been unlucky. I have sought out opinions of Antique Dealers in my local area, but they advise me that they are not furniture appraisers and would not be able to provide and accurate appraisal.

Therefore, I found this forum, in hopes someone could shed the history of this piece and a value, if any.

This is a two piece set. On the top left, there are two pull down doors. The top being a wine rack, im assuming, and the bottom appears to be a secretaries desk (?) On the bottom, when you open it , it shows on label it was made by lane furniture.

The top right has 3 Shelves.

The bottom piece , on the lower right has an door that opens, and 2 trays that are able to pull out, each with different circles cut in them, Im guessing maybe for glasses?

The middle drawer in the bottom piece pulls out and has square slots in it, maybe for more wine??

And the left bottom door is just a en empty cabinet.

The piece is in great condition. This piece is large and very heavy. And very sturdy.

Silver vanity plaque

Category
Silver and Silver Overlay
Condition
Fair
Description

This is a Vanity plaque that was made by Forbes silve co USA. It has the circle stamp with the eagle in the middle and the word Quadruple is inside the circle as well it has a 215 stamped next to the circle as well as a 16" There are also some markings that where none during the making of the piece that are puzzling. The is a single horizontial line and then two 90 Deg angles nested inside each other and then a box with a smaller one inside it and a smaller one inside of the second one for a total of three boxes. It is silver with 8 legs and a black cardboard backing behind the mirror. The mirror is not beveled but appears to have like a jewel cut around the edge. I'm not sure of the condition of the silver it is in no way shinny and perfect and the glass has scratches but not chipped or broke. I have not been able to find much at all on the internet and nothing of a pattern 215. Thank you any info would be creatly appreciated.

painting 22 x 16 canvas

Description

I bought this at a thrift store years ago and do not know any history about it.  I have tried to look up the artist name online with no luck.  It appears to be the original frame and both look very old and some what fragile.  Any information you can give will be much appreciated
