I paid $75 for 2 mid century Gunlock chairs at a storage auction.  The chairs were made in 1966 and they have a plaque "Property of U.S.Dept of HEW".  I did some research,   In 1979, The Department of Education Organization Act was signed into law, providing for a separate Department of Education. HEW became the Department of Health and Human Services, officially arriving on May 4, 1980.

It is not in the greatest co.edition was found with metal detector. The enamel is nearly gone and a lol rusty . I'm not to familiar with item

It is a medieval sword ! It has steel blade and handle engraved with sophisticated decorations in relief. Has a total length of 31 cm, which is 21 cm blade and handle only 10 cm.

found this at an esate sale. I  would like to find out more about it. The people running the estae sale said it was hundred of yrs old??? Mu husband said someone probably built it in their workshop. Either way I love the piece. If anyone has anyinfo on this I would be thrilled.

I have a large hollow brass elephant standing statue that I would like to get appraised. It stands from feet to tip of trunk at amost 3 feet tall and front front chest to tail about 2-21/2 long. We are not sure what this is worth and would like to find out. Please see attached picture and if possible give a rough estimate of what it would be worth, I would greatly appreciate it.
