Hi,I am hoping that someone can give me ANY kind of information- age, type of glass, company information, value,(if any) etc, about this bottle. My husband found this bottle in the sand at a beach in Ketchikan,Alaska almost 40 years ago. It is about 5 or 6 inches tall, had a cork stopper, the writing is etched onto the glass with no labels, and the glass is clear and transparant. The front of the bottle says SPECIAL BATTERY OIL EDISON PRIMARY BATTERY DIVISION THOMAS A. EDISONlnc. BLOOMFIELD,N.J.It is written in capitals and I wrote it exactly as it is on the bottle. The back of the bottle is written lengthwise and says TRADE Thomas A Edison REG.U.S. MARK PAT.OFF. The name is in cursive with the T swooping beside and over the signature-almost looking like a fishing hook and line! On the bottom of the bottle is the letter C inside of a circle with progressively smaller circles around the C. There are a bunch of air bubbles trapped inside the glass, and when looking at the bottle from an angle or laying it on it's side- the glass has a green cast to it, although it is clear and transparant. I have uploaded pictures to show( hopefully) the air bubbles, green cast, and sketching of the bottle. If anyone can give me ANY information whatsoever about this bottle- I, as well as my husband would greatly appreciate it! Thanks- Kim
