Description 1840's Rosewood Dresser/Chest, Solid 1/2inch veneers on dresser/chest, nothing has been changed or altered, 6 hand carved drawer pulls, keyhole covers are very ornate and are wood, has small dovetails for the construction of the drawers

The piece is American Empire made circa 1830-50, this one isn't rosewood they are generally " crotch cut" mahogany veneer on the face bits ( drawers & columns ). Currently at auction they go for about $250.00 if the veneer is in good condition.
