Remembrance pattern was first introduced in 1948. Your set has a replacement value of $500-$600
Re: 1847 Rogers & Bros. "Remembrance" flatware set

We see small Rogers 1847 services like this sell at auction on a regular basis for under $100.00. The market for silverplate is currently very weak, largely due to the large volume of it currently on the market.

Lovejoy

HI,

Thank you, Wallyh and Lovejoy for your feedback. As you can see there is quite a difference in your ideas so I am not sure what to think. Can you both expand your replies a little bit?

Thanks,

Valueseeker

Re: 1847 Rogers & Bros. "Remembrance" flatware set
What I meant was ... If you wanted to quickly add to your set or duplicate it that's what it would cost you, unless you found a bargain. And, as Lovejoy noted, lately everything is a bargain. If your set had been sterling it would hold it's value much better, but it's silverplate.
