Description These are estae pieces that have been packed away in boxes for many years. This partial set was unpacked Sunday. There are 12 Forks and 9 Knives. They are somewhat tarnished, but in good condition other than showing some signs of use. I have been unable to identify the pattern or manufacture date on the internet. I did find out that Meriden Brittania Co purchased Rogers Bros. and the "1847" name in 1862. In 1898 Meriden BCO merged with Connicut SilverPlate to form International Silver. Since there is no IS mark on these pieces I'm guessing they date somewhere between 1862-1898, though the 1847 Rogers Bros / Meriden name was used until around 1907 due to its recognition for high quality and craftsmanship. I hope someone will be able to in the identification and dating of these pieces. Thank you, juli120

Did anybody ever find out the name of the pattern or it's value?

I have come across the same set when cleaning out the basement.
Thanks,

I have come accross the same set. 6 knives and 6 Forks still in thier boxes. Pretty good condition, a little tarnished and a couple of them look more used than the others. Would like to find out thier value.
