Description This was my Great Grandmothers. I have owned it since 1997 after she was moved into a nursing home. I know she and my great grandfather had obtained/purchased it around the depression time. She passed in 2002 at age 102. I have several of her things, but this is something I have not been able to get a rough guess as to what it might be worth. I have found nothing similiar to it on Ebay, internet, etc. I have contacted the Dallas Antique Auction Gallery and she was unable to provide any information due to not having anything comparable to base an appraisal from. My mother saw an Edison on Antiques Roadshow appraise for $5000 to $8000. Those are fairly abundant and I have found several. This Carryola on the otherhand has been an elusive find. It is far from mint condition, but does still work and play records. It does show signs of its age and wear, but is a great collectable. I have pictures, but the player was dusty when we took them. I have not had it professionally cleaned nor have I cleaned it in fear of damaging it. Please contact me at [email protected] if you have any information about the phonograph. Thank you Travis
