Description

My grandfather won the 1929 Pennsylvania Mile championship of America, won of the biggest sporting events in the country at the time! I have no family and I dont wear it so Id like to try and see what others would appreciate it for. Made by Elgin of pink gold, one of a kind, I found this in my grandfathers jar of pennies about 25 years ago. I had it cleaned up and a alligator band put on it. The jeweler wouldnt give me a number but said to contact him when I wanted to sell it because it was the nicest watch he'd ever seen! He isnt in business anymore so I wanted to get a appraisal before putting a ad on EBAY. There are a couple scratches on the face that shows in the pics. It works but needs to be wound alot.

Hi,

You probably have a broken mainspring, which would account for the endless winding.

If it's solid pink gold and not gold filled, I would be interested in purchasing it from you.

What did you have in mind?

Thanks
