Electrola Console

Your radio value is all about condition. Do not plug it in as this can do serious damage. Your posting did not list a model number which is critical to its exact date, etc. However, yours is in the time period where the Victor company was purchased by RCA to form RCA Victor. I own a l927 Electrola which is about 3 times larger than yours and requires 4 paulbearers to move. Mine is a model 9 - 25 and sold for $1150 (the price of a house then) and they manufactured only 826 of my model. Get you model number and then do research. Dr. T.

Re: 1929 victor radio electrola

This model has been in my possesion for at least 4 years now. Before that it belonged to my grandpa. So far I have found out that this is RE-45 and manufactured by the Victor talking machine company in 1929. The tubes have not been replaced since 1940 and it is in horrible condition. Meracuosly though i have gotten the radio to work by tweaking with the wires. Although the Record Player needs a bit of oil on it. Hmmmm.. I guess its not in to bad a condition.
