Description

Hi,

Any advice on likely manufacturers, style and how best to sell the item will be much appreciated.

Below is the description and dimensions.

thank you

Telescopic adjustable brass floor oil lamp:

Purchased circa 1930 in England.

There is a twin lamp which is currently in South Africa.

Lamp works fully with no parts missing. A minor dent to the shaft.  (see pics)

Distinctive pattern on the base. I've looked thoroughly and cannot find a hallmark.

Refitted with an electric light bayonet socket and plug (tested & working).

Lamp has a patina (see pics) and some rust underneath the base.

I believe the shaft is solid brass as it is non magnetic. The base appears to be magnetic and brass plated.

Stands on 3 small removable feet (5cm diameter)

Also has a beige removable lamp shade.

Base diameter: 32.5cm

Height w/o ext. pole: 106cm

Height w/ ext. pole: 180cm

Pole diameter: 38mm

Electric cord length:  89cm
