Description

I found this coin in my change drawer at work from bankrolled pennies it is of a 1995 D penny that appears to have a silver like finish on it. I posted a picture of a normal 1995 penny next to this one for reference. Does anyone have any information on this coin???

it is either a mint error, or the more likely explanation is that the copper was removed through electrolysis, like a science project . Here is a link of how it was made https://youtu.be/q4puQhfJg-o
