1995 D "silver look" penny

Description

I found this coin in my change drawer at work from bankrolled pennies it is of a 1995 D penny that appears to have a silver like finish on it. I posted a picture of a normal 1995 penny next to this one for reference. Does anyone have any information on this coin???

near mint it brought 75$ but id guess it worth about 8.00 inthis condition

it is either a mint error, or the more likely explanation is that the copper was removed through electrolysis, like a science project .
