19th Century Terracotta diorama of the "Lion Monument", (Lowendenkmal in German) aka the "Lion of Lucerne" in Lucerne, Switzerland and is in good condition.
The frame itself is gold, is 10.25" in length, 1 inch in width and 9" in height. It's mounted on a black box 8" in length, 1 inch in width and 7" in height.

It belonged to my mother and has been sitting in my closet for 50 years. It's a lovely piece. I wish I was able to provide more information about it.

How beautiful! I just researched the "Lion of Lucerne" -- just wow! Now I need to go to Switzerland to see the original!
