Description I received this about 10 years ago. I believe my grandfather replaced some of the dowels that hold the shelves up with screws. The left side of the hutch glass must have been broken because it has been replaced with a flexible plastic that has been there since I was a small child. I have not painted, fixed or replaced anything. It still smells of old wood. The back of the mirrors you can tell they must have been hand chisled and are held in with small pieces of wood. I am interested to learn the history of this piece, what it might be worth and if I should refinish/replace anything to increase the value.
