This antique has been passed down for many generations. The tag says American Furnitire Company Batesville Indiana. We are having trouble finding any information on this peice. Please help, any info would be great!

Perhaps you can learn more from it. Also take what you know, you may be surprised that you have more information than you realize.

Like if you know how many generations it has been, you can figure out a better timeframe that the piece was bought new, and through a bit of geneology, can trace the people who bought it and find out where they bought it, etc.
