Description I received this chest from my father in law who passes away recently. He didnt have much, but he never got rid of this item. Dont have a ton of information on it. It measures 41X24x20 (24 tall, 20 deep) It has a bit of corner damage. Pictures are taken of all sides. Thank you

Chest like this have been made for the tourist and export market since the turn of the 19th century and remain in production to this day. Values for them depends a great deal on their condition and quality of construction. Most we see today postdate the 1920`s, a great many were brought back by members of the military and merchant marine as gifts for family and friends back home. most sell for under $200.00 at auction.
