Description
yard saled this 2 months ago for $5.00 (five) and I plan to restore it and fabricate the broken handle using the other handle for a template. I have been trying to find another so I can see if the missing broken panel had a handle attached to get it close as possible. It's got two wooden wheels at 14" and one 5"wheel It's 28.5 tall 16.5 wide and 24" long. I'm usually pretty good with dates but this simple primitive piece keeps saying it's more like 1800's rather than 1900's The third wheel is attached to the swivel mount via copper braid of some sort. Looks to be 1/4 sawn oak but I could be way off. I'm guessing the removeable tray had upholstery or mirror..?? Any help would be awesome.
