This is a contemporary piece (probably in the last 50 years, most likely even earlier), and its CHINA stamp marks it as 'made for export'. The quality of the craftsmanship is frankly not very good, and the material is brass. All things considered, I'd be surprised if you could sell it for anything other than its melt value, for which you'ed likely get pennies on the dollar. I'm very sorry.
