Antique bureau

By Molloy.a, 2 March, 2014
Description

I don't know much about this dresser, I got it from my great aunt who I believe recieved it from her father. All she told me was it was used for writers (there's a spot there the pen would sit). There are a few old flat head nails used but mostly it's held together with notched wood. Unfortunately that's all I know about this piece... Any information/price of this would be great.

Re: Antique bureau

We'd need to see some more images, as pieces in this style were made in two different periods, 1815-40 and 1900-1920. Posdt some images of the drawer construction and desk section and the back of this piece.
