Description
The set contains three items, a chair, a settee and a rocker. They are all very sturdy and have unblemmished material embriodered seat cushions. I believe they are made from mahogany. Each of them have claw feet, lion heads at the end of each arm and the back has a shield shaped carving of a woman wearing a headderess and flowing ribbons streaming down from either side.
I've had this set for a while and at one point, brought photos of them to an appraiser. He wasn't sure exactly where they were from but stated they were probably turn of the century and could be valued in the several thousand dollar range.
