Antique Chair with Stencils

By caroline hill, 30 August, 2018
Description

My family has owned this chair since at least 1972,  but I know it was old even then.  The label says "Milwaukee Chair Company - makers of "Mint Chairs" - Milwaukee WIS U.S.A."  I've seen a few of these and comments on this site before but this one has what appears to be original decorative stenciling on the back so I didn't know if that would change the value of this piece (all the original finish as best I can tell?)?

History
I have photos of this in our home beginning in 1972, but it belonged to my aunt (and possibly my grandmother, born in 1918) prior to that? It appears to have the original finish (never painted) and somewhat unique stenciling on the back of the chair (where a person's back would rest).
