I really need to let the picture speak for itself. I know zero about this chair except my mother used to tell me it was an antique sewing chair. It belonged to my grandmother I think.
These were generally used as Hall Seats, often sold in pairs for use in front halls, the storage under the seats used for gloves. Most like this date from the turn of the 19th Century through the mid 1920's. No huge value though, they were made in very large numbers,most go "in the Rough" at auctions for under $75.00 these days.
