Antique chest of drawers

This piece was given to me several years ago. The owner had no knowledge about it except it was an antique.It is made by Landstrom Furniture.There is a label on the back that states information but it is torn & hard to read. There are no stamps anywhere to be found. We have found 43 engraved into the wood in a few spots. There is also A656 pressed into the pull knobs of the drawers, they appear to be brass. The dresser appears to be mahogany wood with a mahogany finish. Also, on each side there is a pull out ledge of sorts, like to put things onto.I am uploading 2 pictures, one of the front & one of the label and 43 carved into the wood on back of dresser. We have considered sanding the piece to its original wood & using it as a changing table/dresser for our babies room.
