Description

I have a medium sized cobalt blue bottle with cork. I don't know where my great grandmother got it, or what it's worth? I'd like to know what it once was used for?

It looks like an Apothracary bottle. Since i cant really tell an age or maker from it, its hard to tell a price. Usually i see them sell at antique shops between $10-$20 depending on age and quality. This one looks to be newer because of the great quality.

Look for a mold seam on the bottle, it will tell a great deal about its age. Mold lines that go all the way up generally indicate a early 20th century manufacture date at the earliest. Bottles like this were reproduced during th Victorian decorating craze of the 1980's.
