The hallmarks are London 18 carat gold. The assayer's marck (date letter) looks like the "n" of 1868/1869. The sponsor's mark AN was registered by Adoplhe Nicole of Nicole, Nielsen & Co. in 1844. The watch was probable made by NN&Co. and retailed by Dent.
