Description

I have two antique dinner plates that I have not much information about, other than they belonged to my Great Great-Grandparents, and were given to me by my father. My Great Great Grandfather was a Scottish Farmer who bought land and settled here in Canada, and married locally to the area. I cannot find any marking, or a stamp of any sort on the underside of the plates.

Category China
Medium Porcelain, I assume
Condition Good
Size and dimensions of this item The plates are 10" diameter round from edge to plate edge. The rim being 1.5" width, plate center 7.5" diameter round.
Date Period From what I read, no stamping on the back indicated the plates were likely made before 1891.
